This is a project which deals with an ideal setting for relaxation simply due to the benefit of it’s location. It could be considered as one of the best views which a house could obtain in the locality. It consists of functions to make it comprehensive enough while being situated on a cliff amidst a landscape of pine trees. A linear shape was initially adapted to provide uninterrupted view towards each of the spaces designed.
As the design progressed, it was identified that least attention and architectural elements were needed to get natural ventilation into the design as the site was situated comfortably in a place where they are very scarce. Therefore, the prime focus was to maximize the magnificent view which is spread beyond limitation. He spaces were designed as that they celebrate the location and surrounding landscape.
The linearity of the design also immensely responds to the verticality of the pine trees. Once completed, the structure would perch light on top of the hill like a thin line in a background of verticals.
